Java aktuell's endorsement of our work underscores the impact and importance of our contribution to advancing Java technology. As a platform, it not only connects Java enthusiasts but also highlights significant advancements and discussions relevant to the community.

Building on this momentum, we're excited to further engage with the Java community at JavaLand 2024. Hosted at Nürburgring in Germany from April 9 to 11, this conference, organized by iJUG, HeiseMedien, and DOAG, is a beacon for Java professionals worldwide, and we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the remarkable event this year. With several thousands of attendees and more than 160 insightful talks planned for this year, JavaLand 2024 promises to be an enriching experience for everyone involved.

We're particularly proud to announce that Christofer Dutz, the mind behind our featured article, will present a talk about "MES Systems Based on Java (Micro-)Services" on April 9th. This talk will delve into the integration of IT best practices into the OT-realm, bridging the gap with open-source solutions. Dutz will discuss how strategies from the IT world such as Unified Namespace, Sparkplug, NoSQL, Microservices, Machine Learning, and Test-Driven Development are proving to be exceedingly effective in solving the industry's most complex problems of automation. This session is an excellent opportunity for attendees to gain insights into the application of Java microservices in enterprise systems.

Join us in celebrating this achievement and looking forward to JavaLand 2024, where we'll continue to explore and push the boundaries of Java technology together.
